Programme

Day 1

Arrival in Lesa and check-in at Hotel Aries.
Free time to explore Lake Maggiore.

Day 2

After breakfast, travel by train to Domodossola, where you'll board the famous Centovalli Railway. The panoramic route passes through the beautiful Vigezzo Valley, known as the "Valley of Painters", before crossing into Switzerland and arriving in the lakeside town of Locarno.

Along the way, you may choose to stop in Santa Maria Maggiore, home to the Chimney Sweep Museum, or in Re, famous for its impressive Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sangue.

Spend time exploring Locarno before returning across Lake Maggiore by ferry to Stresa, enjoying spectacular lakeside views along the way.
