Discovering Switzerland!

Our staff is delighted to offer you an adventure on board the famous panoramic train that runs from Domodossola to the Swiss shore of Lake Maggiore, along an evocative route that alternates alpine landscapes with marvellous views of the lake.

On arrival in Lesa, you will be accommodated at the Hotel Aries.

The following day the actual excursion will take place: by train, we will reach Domodossola, where we will board the famous Centovalli train, also known as the Vigezzina, to reach Lake Locarno. Along the way, it will be possible to make a stop in the ‘Painters' Valley’: in Santa Maria Maggiore, for example, it will be possible to visit the Chimney Sweep Museum, or in Re we will marvel at the incredible Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sangue. We will then visit the beautiful Swiss town of Locarno, with its marvellous castle. Finally, in the late afternoon, we will leave Locarno by boat to reach the Borromeo Gulf and Stresa.

On the last day, after breakfast at the hotel, we will depart.

FIRST DAY
Arrival in Lesa and accommodation at Hotel Aries.

SECOND DAY
The Centovalli train through Val Vigezzo and the Centovalli will take us across the lake to Locarno (Switzerland). Along the way it will be possible to make a stop in the "Painters' Valley"

Breakfast at the hotel and departure
