TICINO RIVER BICYCLE PATH
The Ticino River bike path starts in Sesto Calende, where the Ticino River leaves Lake Maggiore. We pedal along the river to Castelnovate, here we move onto the bike path that runs along the industrial canal and proceed to the Oleggio bridge, cross it and head towards the Piedmont Ticino Park.
We continue to Cascina Zendone and Cascina Baraggiola and reach the San Giorgio area.
We continue toward Pombia via the SP 148 road, reach Varallo Pombia by SP 29 and continue to the Cascinetta area.
From here we proceed on a dirt road and reach Borgo Ticino. We then reach Comignago, through the Bosco Solivo Nature Reserve, and from here we pedal to Dormelletto and Arona.
